It is with great sadness I report the passing of another composer, Akira Nishimura in Japan on 7th September.
The quartet had a great association with Nishimura having recorded all of his quartets and a selection of other chamber works. From his second quartet, Pulses of Light, all of his quartets were written for us and premiered by us. He will be sorely missed by us and the international audience that has been created to listen to his music.
